And if you're thinking that double the product means double the price, think again. If you're unfamiliar with this fan-favorite exfoliator, it has garnered praise from countless skin-care enthusiasts on the Internet through its breakthrough, two-percent salicylic acid-based formula. "Salicylic acid is an oil-soluble beta hydroxy acid (or BHA) that goes deep into the pores to clear out dirt, oil, and other impurities," Yunyoung Claire Chang, M.D., a board-certified dermatologist based in New York City, previously told Allure. "It exfoliates and reduces clogged pores, leading to clearer and brighter skin." You'll also spot calming green tea leaf extract and moisturizing butylene glycol in this formula, making it a gentler, daily-use alternative to more intensive exfoliating products.
