Do you want a plumping lip gloss produced by an erstwhile pop star? A luxe long-burning candle made by a Grammy-regaled soul musician? A plucky child star's hair-detangling spray? It's all available for you! The beauty world is already bursting with options of celebrity-spangled products.
Even so, though, there's a tragic gap in this highly-saturated market between the celebrity beauty brands that we have and the ones that would make our hearts flutter. Arguably, there are too many celeb beauty brands — but overabundance can actually indicate that we're still searching for the thing that we want the most. Desire isn't extinguished by glut.
And despite the 3,487,308 available celebrity beauty lines (by our last rough estimate), Lizzo still doesn't make sparkly eye makeup and we don't have Paul Rudd's secret to his eternal glow…yet! So below, we dare to dream among the stars who should launch their very own exceptional beauty brands.
Update: Since this story originally ran in our December 2021 print issue, both Harry Styles and Tyler, the Creator have launched their first beauty product collections. Consider us clairvoyant!

Impish scamp prince Harry Styles, we know that you’re absolutely eager to start a nail polish brand, almost strictly pastel shades, with the exception of one quintessential pitch black. Provocative, edgy Bad Bunny, no need to ask you twice: You're on top of launching an acrylics set with the sharpest points on the whole market, yes? And matchy-matchy visionary, Lisa from Blackpink, please supply the final touch: gemstones that adhere perfectly to a newly glossed nail. Thank you all so much. It’s a handshake deal — with a brief pause so we can show off our fresh nails.
